Enhancement: A review period filter has been added to the dashboard, report, and strategic plan screens, allowing users to view and edit strategic action items specific to a selected review period.
Enhancement: Date restrictions have been implemented to change strategic action item dates, ensuring the integrity of progress data. The restrictions are as follows:
If a review period has ended and the strategic action item started and ended within that period, the start date is locked, but the end date can be extended.
If a review period has ended and the strategic action item started in that period but ends in a future period, the start date is locked, but the end date can be extended.
If the review period is current, both the start and end dates can be modified, provided they are later than the start date of the review period.
Enhancement: The system prevents the creation of strategic action items for past review periods that have ended or for future review periods that have not yet started.
Enhancement: The system restricts the editing of strategic plan elements (such as goals and strategies) for future review periods to prevent the creation of new versions. This ensures a consistent view of data until the corresponding review period becomes active.
Enhancement: Moving a strategic action item to a different review period ensures that it cannot be moved to a period that doesn’t overlap with its original start and end dates.
Enhancement: When copying a strategic action item, the system ensures the dates align with the new review period, so the copied item begins within the period it’s copied into.
Fixes: Various bug fixes and general improvements have been implemented.
